1,400-year-old Ginkgo tree on the grounds of the Guanyin Temple in Luohandong village in the city of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. This tree is thought to be planted for Emperor Li Shimin, founding father of the Tang Dynasty, ruling from 629 to 649. It has been visited by thousands of tourist to watch its golden leaves. The selection of the Web Archive focuses on websites containing scientific and cultural content. Another area of interest is innovative websites and popularity.
