Ginkgo leaves in opera 'The Mikado', Chicago

Ginkgo leaves in a scene from Chicago's new production of Gilbert and Sullivan's 1885 comic operetta “The Mikado”, director Gary Griffin.
Mark Thompson's designed Asian-inspired art deco costumes with a series of simple patterned backdrops of Ginkgo leaves and cherry blossoms.
Performance location: Lyric Opera of Chicago.
