This Ginkgo tree is c. 1300 years old and has many chichi (aerial roots). It is a natural monument, c.40 m height, trunk circumference 22 m.
The air roots (chichi = nipples or breasts) are seen as a sign of motherhood and a pregnant woman or a mother can pray here to let her have milk to nurse her baby.
