Hachiman Ginkgo tree is a survivor!
The famous giant 1,000-year-old Ginkgo tree of Hachiman shrine, Kamakura in Japan broke down in 2010. It is the symbol of this shrine.
Now in July 2015 a new tree has grown from the original roots of this tree, a survivor!
