Shanghai World Expo 2010

Britain started construction of its pavilion for 2010 Shanghai World Expo on Thursday. The pavilion covers an area of 6,000 square meters. Two Ginkgo trees were planted at the ground-breaking ceremony on March 12. The construction will be completed in May 2010.
The World Expo 2010, with the theme of "Better City, Better Life," will be held from May 1 to Oct. 31 next year and is expected to attract 70 million visitors.
