Old Ginkgo with chichi in Nagano pref., Japan

HD-video of an 800-year-old Ginkgo tree in Ikusaka, Nagano prefecture, Japan.
This Ginkgo is a natural monument and has many chichi. The chichi (= mothers's breasts) are seen as a sign of motherhood and a pregnant woman or a mother can pray here to let her have milk for her baby.

Butterflies and Ginkgo leaves - 2

Handmade butterfly created by 81-year-old Gu Houxin with a leaf of a Ginkgo tree in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province. Gu has so far made over 700 such butterflies by painting coloured patterns on Ginkgo leaves.
